We are sure proud of you Tyce.

Hugging his Dad

Hugging his mom.

This is the weather we has to drive through coming home from out spring break last weekend. This is over Bear Valley.

Clint made us have a freeze out the whole way over Bear Valley with the windows down. The kids all huddled in blankets and we were all so cold by the time we got home. The only one that enjoyed it was Tayze he keep wanting to roll the window back down.

Our spring break trip we stayed in Vegas. Because of the Weather we went to circus circus adventure dome. The kids did have a good time. This is Tayze throwing balls, he even won a prize.

Tylee riding the rides. She enjoys herself but is always ready to do whats next.

We did go hiking at the valley of fire. The weather was a little cool but actually just right. We has fun playing in the sand and enjoyed hiking.

Tashia got sick on our trip and had to lay in the van.

This is Tylee's little tea party we served her favorite meal hot dogs, macaroni and cheese and fruit. Punch for tea and cake and ice cream. The kids all dressed up to come to dinner.

Tylee turned 5 In March, she had a little tea party and loved every minute of it. She has such an imagination and enjoyed her b-day she wanted to turn 5 all over again.

enjoying the Snow.
Natashia with her basket of goodies.

last game of the year!

Well we have State Girls Basketball over with. It was kind of disappointing for our girls, but they gave it a good effort. They played on Wed. and won easily. Thursday they played Rich. It was quite a game, We couldn't do anything, but we did take the lead and had the lead the whole game until the last minute where Rich made a come back and a one point lead. We had 3 chances to make a basket for the win but didn't pull through and lost. Natashia hit her jaw hard on a girls head, they thought she might have dislocated her jaw and so we had to take her to the E.R. Luckily everything was fine. The girl she hit did end up having to get stitches. Me and the younger 3 kids along with nanny goat spent the night in a motel in Richfield. We had a good time. We went swimming and had fun eating. We were going to spend Friday night too but because we lost we decided we wouldn't. Friday we played Wayne and won easily. Saturday we played St. Joesph and also won. Rich and B.V. played for Championship and Rich took an early lead and made B.V. look awful. It was a poor Championship game.

On Thursday night Clint and Tyce traveled to Milford to play our last region game. They ended up wining. Tyce got a taste of football that night as the big kid got frustrated with Tyce and picked him up and threw him across the floor. I got a good laugh when Clint told me the story.

On Saturday we woke up to about a foot of snow. The girls had a good time making a snow man.

Weekend update.
The boys high school team traveled to Valley to play on Thursday. I ended up staying home to get the house cleaned up because Clint told me he wasn't going to play Tyce at all with his sprained ankle. I listened to the game on the Radio and was quite disappointed when I heard the starters and Tyce Barney was one. He ended up playing most of the game and doing well. When he got home that night his ankle was swollen again but he's doing great!. Natashia played her last J.V. game ever on Friday night. I can't believe the year of basketball is almost over. They played in Milford for the last league game of the year. Kind of sad thinking that Tash will be a senior next year and then be gone before I know it.
On Saturday we traveled over to Bryce Valley to watch Trey play. They played Piute and Wayne which were both fairly good games but Panguitch ended up winning both games. Trey does a great job since he is a big kid for a 6Th grader. Today we are meeting at Curtis and Cindy's for our annual super bowl party, I of course have to work !
Mataya did get to go with a friend to the SUU gymnastic meet. She went with the Fischers and then spent the night at their house. That was fun for Mataya but she sure did come home ornery. I guess that's why I hate sleepovers.

These are the cute shirts we made for the kids to wear at the games.
Tylee with her new hair cut.

Baby Tayze getting his hair cut for the first time.
I took the 2 younger kids on Tuesday with my mom and we went to Monroe to Colette's to get our hair done. Tayze finally got his baby hair off, it was getting quite long but I didn't want to cut it because none of my babies ever even have hair until they are 2 or older. Tylee had hers cut into a cute bob, it fits her perfectly.
Tonight 2-2 we traveled to Piute for the girls ballgame. It was quite a game, close throught out the whole game. We ended up losing by 2 points. Natashia kind of struggled with her game tonight. Next week we have region girls so hopefully our girls can pull it together.

This week update on the sporting events. Wednesday the Lady Bobcats played in Bryce Valley, it was an intense game, our girls could not get a basket for nothing and we ended up loosing in overtime. We were tied with about 18 seconds left in regular play and got fouled, Abby had the chance to win the game with two free throws but missed them both. Natashia did not play very good. On Friday the girls played Valley, they played much better. Natashia did great she hustled on defence and even had 12 or so points. Oh I forgot to say on Tuesday night was the homecoming Queen tryout. In between talent and evening wear they announced for Natashia to get up on stage, they brought her our roses and asked if she would go to Prom with Tom Adams. She was embarrassed but excited.

Saturday was the homecoming game. We played Escalante. Both Ronda and Shelly came to watch Tyce play. In the first few minutes of the varsity game Tyce tripped over a kids foot and sprained his ankle so he ended up in the E.R. instead and they didn't even get to watch him play. Thank heavens it was just a sprain! He might have to set out a few games but should be back at it by Region and State. Ronda and I made all the kids bobcat shirts to wear for the games, They all looked so cute, I will take a picture and post next time we get them all together.

Trey also played twice this week, on Thursday their alstar team played in Parowan and they won quite easily. Trey is defiantly the biggest kid and has a lot of people talk about him. On Saturday the played B.V. and then Kanab and won both of those games. Good job Trey.

The 3 younger kids are just miserable to be dragged out everywhere but sure are cute.

This past week again was busy for the kids. Tyce played Milford here in Panguitch and they got their butts whipped. Tyce fell hard and has a large floor burn on his hand and his hips, but he is not much of a complainer. On Friday we traveled over to Wayne county to watch more basketball, I did get to meet up with Becca and we ate dinner then went to the games together. Panguitch won, Tyce did well.
Saturday, Natashia planned a mother, daughter friend date. Kim Cambell, Joann Holman, myself and our daughters went to Cedar prom dress shopping. It actually was a good time and Natashia and Chandler both found their dresses. I would post a picture but Natashia says I can't quite yet. We had to hurry home so the girls could play Escalante in basketball, which was a boring game 8-40 something.

Soph. Tournament weekend.

This past Friday and Saturday Tyce got to participate in the Soph. Tournament in Bryce Valley. They had a disapointing loss the 2nd game to Valley and played Wayne for 3rd and 4th where they won easily. Tyce had a great tournament where he had just about 20 points or more per game.

Natashia played ball in Wayne on Friday. They had a tough game but ended up winning by around 10. Trey also played in a 6th grade league on Saturday in Piute and they won both of their games. I didn't get to watch but Trey must have done well, he scores about 20 points a game also.

It is my new Goal to blog a little better this year so that I can print it off and remember what we did through out the year. We started out the New year with going to the New Years eve party in Panguitch. We were home by 10 pm and all 3 older kids split and went to parties with friends. Clint and I stayed home with the 3 younger kids and were having a good time playing games. I bought the kids glow necklaces which we got out and before we knew it the girls were whipping each other with them causes large welts and crying kids. We ended up sending them to their rooms and everyone upset. We did get everyone settled just in time to pound on our pots and pans and blow our noise makers. Tylee thought that was so neat she wanted to keep doing it. She stayed up till 2:30 in the morning. The 3 older kids got home shortly after 12 and no one was tired so we put everyone to work cleaning. The first day of January we woke up and the kids started in on their fighting! I had had enough so Clint and I locked ourselves in our bedroom. When we came out 3 hours later---The kids had all the Christmas decorations down and the entire house clean. Thanks Natashia this did put a good start to the new year after all.

These past couple of weeks have been extremely busy with lots of sports. Tyce played in the big upset game of the year against Bryce Valley. I missed the game because I had to work and am still pouting about it. The boys played Piute tonight and got spanked. Natashia has been playing well she averages about 8 points a game. They played Milford this week and won easily. Trey is also playing in bantam and does well. He participated in the hoop shot this past Saturday and took 3rd place, another trophy on his shelf. Tayze is sick with the Croup but is still very pleasant. Tylee is just getting more spoiled everyday. This week Clint couldn't get her to sleep and promised her she had a party in the morning. She did not forget so we had a few friends over for a p.j. party. They had snacks and played games in her tents. They played so well together. Mataya is just staying busy with her homework and helps her mom chase around all the kids. This week Tylee, Tayze and I also went on a shopping trip to St. George. We sure had a good time getting Christmas clearance, we found P.J. for nanny goat for next year and also lots of toys for 50% off.
