Trying on clothes at the mall.

Over the weekend of the 5th and 6th of December, Clint and the boys took off and left us to go up north for Basketball games, so me and the girls took off at 9 pm on Friday and drove to Las Vegas to spend the weekend. We had a nice relaxing weekend. We stayed at the Paris. The room was nice. We went up the Tower again because Tylee keep begging. We went during mid day and the last time we went at night. The view was much better at night. We also walked the strip and went to see the dolphins at the Mirage, this was the one thing Mataya got to choose to do. Then we spent the rest of the time at the mall, which was what Natashia choose to do. I was done in Vegas and Mesquite for 3 days and only gambled one hour. I was quite proud of myself. Me and the girls has such a great time together. We decided were taking girls nights out more often.

Our first painting project

Over the weekend of Thanksgiving, we decided to do something strange. We painted our hallway bobcat blue and then all of us put our hand prints all over the wall. The kids had such a fun time doing this. Tylee still walks down the hall and finds her name and her hand print. Its different but we are pleased with it and it was a good family activity.

Hoop Shoot

Tyce and Trey both took first place at the hoop shoot this year. They meet in Cedar for the first round. Each of them had about 20-25 kids in their group and the both came out on top. They get to move on to the next level which is the first of January. We are proud of you Tyce and Trey

Opening presents

The birthday girl with all the presents

For Mataya's Birthday party, we decorated gingerbread houses. I had the basic house done out of Grahm crackers and then the girls just had to put candy and icing to decorate. This is the final project. They turned 0ut soo cute and the girls actually seemed to enjoy making them.

Playing games

When the girls first got there they played button, button, who has the button and also hide the spoon. They games were picked out by Mataya of course.

This is the table I had it all set up before the girls got there. It looked so cute.

Mataya with Grandpa and Grandma Henrie on her 7th B-day
Here is the B-day girl. Sunday was Mataya's B-day. We had pie and icecream down to Aunt Coleens house. The kids played games and Mataya got to open a few presents. They even put her through the spanking machine.

All the Aunts gave her this blanket, she now sleeps with it every night.

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving Dinner at my house this year. I worked the night before and thank heavens for my mother and aunt Coleen that helped me get food ready. Mom made the Rolls for me and Coleen made the pies, all I had to do was plug in the turkey when I got off work and make a few appitizers. I ordered cute table settings and my table looked quite nice. I had everyone come earlier so we could play games, but no one ended up playing much. Anyway It was a good time. Shortly after eatting we all took off for Mesquite so we could hit the black Friday sales. My favorite time of the Year
Here we are eatting. It was just our family, Curtis and his family(even though both of his boys are gone on missions) and Grandpa and Grandma Barney.

Here's the Kids table. They sure like mash potatoes. Tylee Boo you are so cute. She had to wear her princess dress all day.
