New Baby has arrived

Baby number 6 Tayze Katcher Barney has arrived. I worked the night of the 21st of August. It was a fairly busy shift and by the time we sat down to chart it was about 145 and I started to have some contractions the were hurting a little. I told the nurse I was working with about 230 that I was having some contractions, she had me go lay down to see if they would stop but they didn't. I got up and helped her do 4 o'clock rounds and by then was really hurting. She finally called Deann in and I delivered at 5:45 am just at shift change the time all the nurses hate. But everything went well and we now have this beautiful baby boy.

Grandma Perkins was wheeled up from long term care to come see the new addition.

Natashia was playing volleyball in St. George and didn't get home tell 10:00 at night. She was very anxious to come see the baby at the hospital.

For Natashia's B-day this year she had to work so we just had cake and ice cream with the family then later that week I took her and 3 friends to St. George where they got to shop at the mall, eat at olive garden and then I had tickets to the play Footloose. Ginger and Ronda went with me. I was quite pregnant but it all turned out to be quite fun. We stopped in Cedar on our way down so Natashia could get her learners permit. I can't believe she's old enough to drive even though it has to be with an adult.

First Day of School

We did Mataya's hair cute for the first day of school. This might be the only day it gets done.

Ronda came down to Panguitch to stay a few days over the 24th of July and into the next week. Our kids were starting to get board so we sent Nanny to buy them some treats for a treasure hunt. She came back with a ton of stuff. Ronda and I put together a fun treasure hunt with a prize at each place where they would take a break and play with or eat their prize. We dragged it out for about a 2 hour treasure hunt and the kids enjoyed it so much that Mataya tried to do one the next day.

Hatch Reunion

After the parade on the 24th of July Ronda and I took our kids out to the Hatch Reunion to eat dinner. Tyce ended up going down by the river to Fish. Natashia had to work and Trey was in Cedar playing baseball. Clint went with Trey to watch.

On Saturday the whole family went over to Cedar to watch Trey play. It was a fun day, they ended up playing for championship of the tournament and was ahead the whole game but ended up loosing. but it was still exciting. After the game we took off and headed for Vegas to do school clothes shopping. It was a nightmare trip. They told up our rooms were not clean and we had to wait about an hour this was at midnight, so all the kids were throwing a fit. The next day we woke up early and hit the malls for shopping which is always fun but we got it done and headed home. So it was a quick trip but I didn't want to wait any longer with the new baby coming.

24th of July

After the parade we went to Nanny Goats for lunch and to play in the water. Here is Quincy, Briley, and Kenlie enjoying their food.
