Club VolleyBall Trip with Dad

Over the weekend of April 3rd and 4th Clint took all the kids to Salt Lake because Natashia had Club Volleyball. They went up Friday night and went to the Jazz game. The boys especially enjoyed the games, they snuck down to some lower level seat just above the team and really had a good time. They stayed over in a Motel and Clint took the kids swimming. Saturday they spent all day watching Natashia and Chelsie play volleyball. The trip went fairly good except Mataya threw up all over in the Van on the way up and Tylee pooped in the swimming pool. Clint's a good dad to take all the kids on his own. I had to stay and work but did get a lot of good sleep.

Tylee turns 3

For Tylee's 3rd B-day, we took the family over to Cedar and ate dinner at Chilies. The kids got to pick her out a present in which she got to open when we got home.

This is Tylee and Mataya resting on their B-day blankets. Natashia gave Tylee this soft princess blanket.

Tylee getting her present from her dad. He bought her a hair doing set with blow dryer, curling iron etc. and a princess camera.

Trey and Tyce picked out a snow white princess crown and a pair of shoes. She loved them and wore them for the rest of the night.

Getting her present from Natashia.

Tylee and Kenli's Birthday party!

For the girls' birthday we had a princess party because that is all Tylee thinks about. We just invited a few friends(Mom's coworkers kids) and had Cinderella and Snow White show up to the party. Snow White and Cinderella played games with the kids. They played hide the apples, and was going to play help Cinderella find her glass slipper but we ran out of time.

This is the girls enjoying their princess snack which consisted of a cupcake, princess fruit snacks, pretzels and apple juice.

Tylee couldn't stay away from Snow White.

When the guest arrived we had them all pick out princess dresses and had them decorate with stickers their little tiaras.

Opening presents.

The B-Day party with the Princesses.

Cinderella painted the girls nails. We even had princess jewels to put on their nails.

Snow White put make-up and body glitter on the girls. They just loved the make-up.

Natashia did a FCCLA project this year. Her category had to do with bringing friends and communities together. They planned out a dance themed around the 80's and invited the surrounding schools to participate. They planned for refreshments and decorations and had volunteer DJ's that played 80's music. They had to keep track of the budget and time they put into preparing this dance. It ended up being a lot more work than Tashia thought but things turned out well. They went to state FCCLA last week and Tashia and her partner got two gold metals and get to take their project to Nationals in Nashville TN. I'm soo excited because hopefully I will go with her.

The busy week with Basketball

Trey's bantam game on Friday.

Tylee enjoying hopscotch at the games.

Somewhere Clint caught a nap and also got decorated with stickers.

I caught the decorator in action.

Tyce had time to go duck hunting Friday morning . He's quite into the hunting lately.

This week has been extrmely busy with basketball for the Barney's. Tuesday the 6th, Natashia with the lady bobcats took on Milford. I only got to watch the JV game but Natashia is comming along well and does a great job. They won easily. Clint's high school team played Wed. night at Piute and won. I didn't get to watch this game but Clint said the Frandsen boy got 3 dunks which made the game quite exciting. Thurs. Natashia's team traveled to Wayne county where they didn't have such good luck. Friday we had to watch Trey play in bantam ball then me and the girls went over to Bryce Vallely to the Sophmore tourment where one again Panguitch played Wayne but this time we won. Natashia got to play the whole game and did such a good job. I was really proud of her. Friday night Clint's team also played in Panguitch agaist Milford and chalked up another win. Saturday we spent the day as a family in Bryce Valley as the Soph. tourn. cont. The girls played B.V. first and it was a croud getter. We ended up winning by 4. There was even a fight with the fans. Anyway Panguitch played Piute for the Championship game but ended up loosing. Natashia played every minute of all three games and it was just quite fun watching one of your own play.

Bringing in the New Year.

For News Years Eve this year, Clint and I really wanted to take the kids to Vegas, but they through a fit because they are old enough that they need to be around their friends. So Clint and I got the best of both worlds. On the 30th We took our New Years trip and went to Vegas on a date. We got to eat at a fancy Steak house and had a good time being with each other. Then on the real New Years we took to the kids to the Chim dig in Panguitch. They sure had a good time. The theme this year was the 50's. They had it decorated like a diner and served hotdogs and hamburgers and fried chicken. They also had rootbeer floats. For entertainment they had 3 different blow up things, the famous money dirt pile, and an Elvis impersonator(who was fair). They also had their anual bingo which Mataya and I went and played several games but didn't win. Tyce did win though. Clint and I and the two younger girls had had enough around 1100pm so we went home and spent the New Year in bed watching tv.

For New Year Day we had a dinner at Curtis and Cindy's house. A nice turkey dinner. It was kind of fun. Now it's back to Basketball and more Basketball.

Christmas 2008

I 'm not much of a picture taker but this is Tylee in her new jeep and dressing up in her new dressups. She sure did enjoy Chrismas. After opeining presents at our house with both our parents there, we next went to my dads house then to clint's parents then back to our house where we eat Christmas breakfast with everyone. I survived until just shortly afternoon and then I crashed. So because I was tired I was pretty onery but I did survive and another Christmas has come and gone.

Here we are Christmas morning. I didn't get off work until after 6 and I told the kids they had to wait for me. I was quite suprized that everyone wasn't awake when I got home. I even got to sleep for about an hour before the kids got up. We first go in and look through our stockings. Tylee boo was soo excited, she would have been satisified if the stocking was all Santa had left.

Christmas eve we were pretty busy. First we went out to eat with my dad out to Tom and Kay's for the annual Hatch steak dinner. It was good food but we only stayed for an hour and then had to hurry to go eat with Clint's family at his parents house. Dawna had the kids watch Mr. Crouger christmas and we played the white elephant gift exchange. It was pretty fun. Then we went home and Clint made all of us pitch in and clean our house. We sent the kids to bed and Santa had to hurry because I went to work at midnight. Before the kids went to bed we did open our lovely Pajama's. The boys through a fit because they thought their PJ's looked girlish and I obviously didn't even bother buying Clint any because I knew he wouldn't put them on, but we did look cute all matching.

We even had the dog Taffy in the picture.

For Saturday Dec. 20th and Sunday Dec 21st Mom through her anuall Christmas party for me and all my sisters and brother. She had it planned so cute this year. It was a progessive dinner party. First we started out to Coleens where she had crafts for the kids to do and aprons for them to decorate and finger foods. She had borrowed a trailer with haybails and we wrapped up warm because it was so cold outside and started on our Journey. She had us all sing Christmas songs as we rode along we all had jingle braclets and shakers(although none of us are very good singers) all the kids had a ball and when we stopped at Chet and Alicia's no one wanted to get off. We ate soup at Alicia's and she read us a Christmas story, then it was back on the trailer and back to singing. Next stop we went to a lady's house that collects villages and trains and saw her house and her train room. The kids also thought that was pretty cool. It was so cold that we bypassed handing out cookies to a few people mom had in mind and just went to My house where we ate our main meal and Santa came. He gave all the kids a present(which was Pajama's and they all wore them for the rest of the night. They looked so cute all matching. Later that night the women had their pj gifts with one being a sexy pj set. Colette my cousin ended up picking the sexy pj's. we all had to model the set we got. They are not going to let me post those pictures, but we all laughed pretty hard.

On Sunday, mom fixed us her Prime rib dinner. It always taste so delicious!!. I'm glad mom knows how to cook so well. We sure did enjoy your party mom. Love ya tons.

My family in their pj's from Grandma.

My pictures are not the best but this is at this years elementary Christmas program. Mataya's class were dressed in their jeans and hats and sang all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth. Trey's class sang a song about getting slippers for Christmas. Trey couldn't find slippers and told me too late so he ended up wearing Grandma Henrie's pink fuzzy slippers. It was actually quite a cute program.
